798*oAn impressive old time mostly mint collection that hasn’t seen the light of day for 40 years. This assembly is heavily influenced by 19th century mint with an unusual amount of original gum. A little light until you hit the Banknotes. After that the group is well filled up to 1949. However the dollar value Columbians and Trans-Miss’s were never acquired. Better numbers include 7, 9 OG, 36-37 both OG ,69-69, 71-72, 76, 88 OG, 92 OG, 112, 116 OG, 125 regum, 134-136 all OG, 145-155, 156-161 all OG, 161, 162-163 both OG, 165-166, 184, 185 OG, 189-190 both OG, 191, 207-209 all OG, 215-218 all OG, 219-229, 248/261, 263 regum, 230-240, 264-279, 279-284, 285-291, 294-299, 323-330, 331-342, 357-358, 236, 374-382, 397-400, 401-403, 414-423, 462-466, 468-476, 479-480, 498/518, 524, 547, 551-573, 581-591, C1-C6, C18, RW2 OG, RW9 NH, RW13-RW14 both NH. 800*oAn impressive one man’s lifetime 1847/1998 mint and used 19th and 20 century collection. Housed in a ten volume White Ace binders, the owner meticulously placed both front and back of the books areas with the unusual habit of mounting common issues upside down in the spots of the more expensive varieties. This assembly holds a good run of used 1851-1861 issues, nice grouping of Banknotes including 90¢ values, early used Bureaus, including dollar values, well-populated Washington Franklins with questionable coils. Heavy back of the Book including Airmails, Postage Dues, Officials highlighted with Executives, Navy, and State Departments. Useful used are 1-2, 12, 71-72, 75, 86, 89-91, 100-101, 112-117, 119-122, 138, 155, 166, 191, 218, and 313. Also contains a bit of Hawaii and Ryukyu Islands. Spotted was a couple used 90¢ Banknotes and 524 (2) blocks of four. Good representation of middle to later period Ducks and a feeble attempt at plate blocks. Condition is quite mixed and there is some optimistic identification. Good lot for the savvy marketer.Cat. 803*oThree volume 1847/2007 collection in Scott albums with slipcases. As to be expected most of the early issues are used then turns into mixture in the middle and then all mint in the later. Very little Washington Franklins, and B.O.B. Better used are 1-2, 14, 17, 28, 29, 37 with a PFC, 67, 71-72, 89, 100, 112-117, 119-122, (the 90¢ with PFC), 155, 166, 191, 241-242, 244, 277, 292, and 312. Good mint are 243, 293, 630, C13 OG, very steamed, C14 OG, with a thin, C15 OG, vlh, and RW1 OG, vlh. Condition is mixed, mostly Fine or better. 804*o1857/2006 mostly mint commemorative, regular issue collection in four Minkus, two All American albums and lose. Not many stamps to be found prior to the Columbians, a little light in the Washington-Franklin era but finally picks up speed starting with the 1922-1926 Bureau issues, a small pocket of better booklet panes, and respectable basic BOB. Better items are numbers 230-239, 241, 294-299, 319g (NH) 323-327, 551-573, 579-579, 581-591, 630, 658-679, 830-834, 1030-1053, C1-C6, C10a, C13 (vlh, with a gum bend), C14 (vlh, and short perf), C15 (o.g. steamed), and JQ1-JQ5 (2¢ & 5¢ are NH). The value is highly concentrated in the above mention items. In addition there is also a huge amount of postage (face over $3900.00) which includes high values, some imperf Looney Tunes, and a Legends Error sheet. Condition is mixed with some regumming in the early commemoratives while there are many NH in better later items. A great lot to continue on because all the late stuff is already here.Cat. 813*oThree elementary somewhat parallel mint and used collections combined together. Put together does cause some duplication, however not enough to overcome. Lightly populated and mostly used in the early issues, then starts turning mint. Well balanced airmails and B.O.B. and a decent run of Federal Ducks with two of each in the early issues. Worthwhile mint are 291 x2, 294-299 (two sets), 323-330, 630, C1-C6, C13, C18 x4, and RW1-RW2. Used are 1, 36, 78, 119 x2, 240, and 311. Group also includes a small batch of Canada of little value and a few ratty covers. Condition is mixed.
