818*oAn original mint and used 19th and 20th century front and back of the book. Collected a long time ago this holding has been tightly sealed so all the mint stamps could not be closely examined. What was examined was of mixed condition from NH to no gum. Useful used are numbers 1-2 (both with pen cancels), 17, 37-38, 70-71, 120-121, 138, 166, and 242. Meaningful mint are numbers 189 (OG), 230-240, 294-299, 323-327, 404, 524, 571-573, 630, C1-C6 (what we examined was no gum), C13 (OG, slightly disturbed), C14 (OG, disturbed), C15 (OG, slightly disturbed, hr), plus C18 single and block of four. Great lot for expansion and treasure hunting when opening up all the mounts.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,400.00

819*oDuck stamp stock from the shelves of a would be dealer who never got a chance to be behind a bourse table. A few hundred stamps mixed mint and used on counterbook pages in two binders from #RW1-RW57. Skewed toward the beginning with few higher face value modern include in this stock. Includes RW1 x5, RW2 x8, RW3 x4, RW4 x4, RW5 x7, etc. Some earlies with faults, mint with NG, straight edges, etc. Enough premium to make this lot a bargain. Close viewing will prove the value.Cat. 821*oA compact mostly mint investment holding assembled back in the early 1990’s mounted on “Certificates of Authenticity”. Better mint are numbers 117 regummed, 119 ng, 124 ng, 148 regummed, 165 ng with PFC, 230-240, 276-276A both regummed, 285-291, 294-299, 300-311, 362 (oxidized), 397-403, 477, 803-834, 832b, E2, and E4. Useful used are numbers 120-121, 124 “as is”, 145-155, and 241. A few are stuck to the mounts. Yet many are Fine to F-VF appearing however condition is very mixed so disregard the description on the certificate when viewing the lot on the website. 822oCollection of cancels (1858-1908) all saved for a reason. Well over 5,500 stamps put away nearly a century ago as examples of postal cancelations from the period.Around 200 pages filled with stamps saved as fancy cancels. The majority of them found on the more common banknote issues. Some earlies saved for flyspecks and plating with lots of diversity. Foreign use, stars, letters, numbers, pinwheels, corks, etc. Exciting possibilities of some interesting finds.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00

825*oFederal and state duck stamp collection in two large cartons. The federals are mainly mint with a few used and no gum in places. Does include mint NH #RW3-RW5 and RW9-RW11. Fairly well filled into 2004. State ducks are in three alphabetical albums also to 2004 with almost all the vacancies in its 95% coverage found in the early expensive issues. Consists of two Harris Liberty albums mostly post 1935 having excessive abundance from 1970 to 1999. Also encompasses three Scott National albums to 2000s including mint #551-573, 614-617, 658-679, 834, C18, Parks Souvenir sheets, prexie coils in clear and blacks plus several used Ducks 1936 to 1947. The modern is mainly USPS subscription items whose redeeming quality is its face value ($400.00+). Best of all are the original collection of cacheted US FDCS from the 1930s and 1940s that include Baseball x2 and a full Prexie set including #834. An almost intact estate worthy of inspection.Cat.
