770*oThe end result of a dealer’s closet cleaning housed in a large carton. There are numerous folder or box lots that the dealer had priced at a total of over $1300.00, plus additional material. Just to give an idea of the diverse stuff here, a quick review spotted a group of Schermacks on a stockcard, a “Korpa” error sheet, some Saar die proofs, a New York Herald newspaper from 1863 with Civil War news, an 1885 railroad stock certificate, and much more. They contain US proofcards, first days, historical events, etc., including federal ducks and state ducks. Consists of about half US with some rather nice early issues, a quarter British area the majority of which are real and sound, plus a quarter worldwide classics that are basically fakes, forgeries, reprints or damaged.
