Most of the value is in two boxes of plate blocks identified in glassines running from the three cent purples to the 34 cent era. Face value of these is guess-timated at $650.00 but better plates are here, too, including 637 x 2 NH and J86 NH. Other stuff in the carton includes a counterbook with some moderately better items, five sets of Ameripex souvenir sheets, and a bunch of postalcards and stationary. Worth a quick look.Cat. This eclectic group ranges from low value Columbian multiples to early airmail plate blocks with no rhyme or reason. Within the group are plate blocks of 294, 285 and C4.
