735CVAlaska postmarks on around 400 mounted commercial and philatelic covers, PPCs, and postal cards. Organized roughly in chronological order from the late 1800’s to the early 2000’s, most are annotated with substantial historical information, DPO status, population, etc. We noted a Howcan manuscript, and HCs from Dolomi, Kemperville, Udakta, and Washburn, among the more unusual locales. Also includes 1930’s and 1940’s cachets, corner cards, ship cancels, etc. A particularly nice example of this popular specialty.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00

736CVCollection of maybe 1,600-1,700 naval covers from the 1930’s to the 1970’s. Generally with cachets for major or minor events, they are often identified in glassines by hull number or type of ship. While there are many covers from some ships, there appears to be little duplication, which would be confirmed by interfiling these three shoeboxes of covers as you begin to enhance your stock or collection.Cat. This group of over sixty covers seems to be put together to show usages of different stamps to pay the registration fee. Noticed F1, E7, Q6 and Columbians all used in this way. 740FDCOne man’s lifetime collection of hundreds of first day covers spanning 1932 to 2008 housed in Fleetwood binders in ten cartons. 1940 to 2008 are all Fleetwood cacheted while the earlier issues are a mixture of many other artists. Good showing of Parks, Farleys, Prexies and others of that era. Condition is a little mixed in the earlies while the later are very clean. Worthwhile assembly.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00

743CVBalance of the estate lot containing the better covers. While repacking we noticed half a dozen Blood’s locals, plenty of earlies - some with observable grills, stampless Illinois, advertizing and even some presidential autographs (Nixon, Bush, astronauts etc.) all on cover. Mixed condition and the autographs are “as is”. Still a very desirable lot offered at a small fraction of its value. Take a look you will not be disappointed.Cat. Value: S.B. 500.00
