Features a ready-made exhibit examining the growth of Sears, the largest user of the U.S. mail of its time, from the forerunner period to just prior to World War II, including hundreds of examples of covers, business postcards, picture postcards, early meter cancels, and precancels. Also contains selected archival material and strong additional representation of U.S. postal stationery used for Sears communication, magazine and newspaper advertisements, company memorabilia, labels, postmarks, slogan meter cancels, and letterhead stationery, nineteenth century to the 1960s.
