Approximately 900 FDCs, (mainly have two or three FDCs with the same signatures), pictures, letters, and some Japanese Occupation currency. Includes Congressional Medal of Honor, Aces, and others. Incorporates Enola Gay crew member of Paul Tibbets, pilot, George Caron, tail gunner, Richard Nelson, radio operator, Theodore Van Kirk, navigator (last crew member to die), Jacob Beser radar observer, (only man to fly on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings) plus two crew members from the Nagasaki. About 60% were sent by the individuals and are bundled in the envelopes as received mostly from the in the mid-1980s. Several have also included military accomplishments as the Doolittle Raid. A lifetime achievement from an aficionado of military history. Impossible to duplicate today. WW II historian or specialist take note.Cat. Value: S.B. 2500.00
