Hundreds and hundreds of mixed mint and used stamps in full, partial sets, singles, souvenir sheets, and some booklets having abundant backup. Nice holding worthy of viewing.	Cat. 	239	O	Promising French Collection, 1850’s to 1969. Few thousand singles and sets housed in a Ceres album, a stock book, on stock sheets, on quadrilled pages, and in glassines. Some duplication. Includes a small number of stamps related to the Council of Europe and the United Nations; also contains post-WWII Zone material and even a mini gathering of Europa stamps. Pencil notation of Scott catalog number and value for each item. High level of completion for the time period, but missing the more elusive stamps. Noteworthy overall catalog value.
