1586CVInteresting cover from Colon Panama (JA 5) in 1873 using British stamps postmarked with C35 hand cancels. Uses GB #59 strip of four plate 11 and #43 plate 12 to pay the now colorful rate. Blue green oval forwarding agent marking gets it to London (29 Ja 73) and finally to Germany on the 30th. Outstanding complete piece of postal history. Small faults.Cat. Value: S.B. 150.00
