474O*CVOutstanding, comprehensive France collection in six theme base chronologically organized Scott Specialty albums. Mixed condition. Parallel mint and used in many places. Huge aggregate catalog value concentrated in the classic issues. Extensive cancellation study in two albums 1849-1922 that includes multiple #37 sound with different types of cancels. Contains a full stockbook of "forgeries" of the Navigator series in identified sets. The main four volume collection on Scott Specialty pages 1849-1980 includes exemplary covers, proofs and essays, along with singles and multiples of most (over 95%) of the Scott listed items covering regulars, semipostals, and BOB. Condition is a factor on quite a few of the more expensive pieces, along with a dubious item here and there. Seven Lighthouse albums contain regular issues, commemoratives, air mail and semi-postal issues from the early twentieth century to 2006.
