Mint and used singles and sets are housed in stockbooks, on old album pages, in binders of homemade pages, on stocksheets, in glassines, in post office packets, etc. Includes regular postage stamps and BOB, with spotty duplication. Also has a significant number of intriguing postal history covers. Finally, there is over $900.00 of face value in contemporary Canadian postage. We note items of mixed condition at times, especially in the nineteenth- and early-twentieth-century material, but many sound, attractive stamps from all periods are present. 448O*Canada, the Beautiful. Four-carton lot with an emphasis on regular postage stamps and BOB of Canada, 1880’s to 2009 and later. Lots of material to study, reorganize, mount, and enjoy. First, there are three albums in varying degrees of completion, some with mint and some with used stamps. Second, there are stockbooks, salescards, and envelopes of material from different time periods. Third, there are heaps of mainly new issue items still in their original glassines from dealers or Canada’s philatelic agency. Fourth, a few philatelic delicacies from contemporary Sweden have also found their way into this lot. Duplication present on several Canadian new issues.
