COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, AND STOCKS — General Foreign
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
254O*A valuable very clean stock of many thousand in six-ring counter books. All medium to better grade retail values and sets. Chiefly mint with much NH, light in the classics and almost no duplication. Strongest in the European countries but lots of value from around the globe. Price Realized: $2,000.00
257O*39 accumulated International albums found in the Michigan Bank holding. Custom organized into country geographic groups from earlies up through the early 1990s. Some albums are quite full while others are sparse. All have had each of the thousands of stamps cataloged by 2017 catalog leading to an enormous catalog value of over $40K. Everything has been counted many of which are of dubious without certification. All have been lightly remaindered of the "Better items" included now back into the lot in their two counter books on sales cards. Both of these are rife with dubious, fakes, forgeries and reprints among the deservedly better that should get your attention. Each album is marketable as country collections that would do well on the internet or bourse circuit.Cat. Value: S.B. 2600.00
Price Realized: $2,300.00
258O*End of the line worldwide in 38 counter books from the Mountain store stock in three cartons. Thousands of mixed mint, used, and CTO stamps in full, partial sets, singles, and souvenir sheets from the 1860s to the 1990s. Includes Aden, Angola, Cameroun, Ceylon, Cocos, Congo, Dahomey, Dubai, Estonia, Fiji, Liberia, Lithuania, Niger, Nyasa, Tanna Tuva, Tristan da Cunha, and Wallis and Futuna to name just a few. Mixed condition. All on standard sales pages, in Scott order and priced at 75% or so of catalog. All are dollar and up with higher value surprises still there. Huge catalog. Having light to moderate duplication. Good for dealer and collector alike.Cat. Value: S.B. 1800.00
Price Realized: $1,450.00
259O*Dealer’s stock of lower retail level material filling fourteen red boxes. Mixed mint and used, mostly 20th century and any duplication is low. The higher populated countries are Austria, Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Russia and U.N. but, overall a wide range of well represented countries. Looks to be all sets or individual values (no short sets) and condition is mostly F-VF. Each card has a catalog value but no price which makes this a good candidate to just put it out on your table for resale taking advantage of the tremendous amount of labor already expended.Cat. Value: Owner's Catalog 25600.00
Price Realized: $1,350.00
260O*Intriguing worldwide accumulation from the Huskie holding in six binders in one carton. Encompasses thousands of mixed mint and used stamps roughly from the 1890s to the 1970s mainly in partial, full sets, singles, and souvenir sheets sometimes in multiples having useful backup. While already cataloged by the owner who loved to do it is close to meaningless as he did not discount for any problems, fakes or forgeries. Once reorganized and correctly cataloged this holding could be beneficial and profitable. A potpourri of issues from various corners of the globe greet the viewer. Inspection recommended.Cat. Value: S.B. 1200.00
Price Realized: $1,000.00

262O*Another intriguing worldwide accumulation from the Huskie holding in ten binders. Encompasses thousands of mixed mint and used stamps roughly from the 1890s to the 1970s. Mainly in partial, full sets, singles, and souvenir sheets sometimes in multiples having useful but sometimes prodigious duplication. While already cataloged by the owner who loved to house his ""dollar and up"" collection in this way. The huge number is close to meaningless as there was no discount for any problems in condition, miscataloging, duplication and fakes and forgeries. Plenty are here. Once reorganized and correctly culled and cataloged this holding could be beneficial and profitable. A wonderful conglomeration of issues from all over the world. Inspection recommended.Cat.
