Highlights include a three volume Harris world collection to the 1980s with a few thousand mainly packet stamps with relative strength in PRC, Czechoslovakia, and CTO Eastern Europe. A five volume US collection 1935-1990 with plenty of face, and a small amount of supplies and duplicates. The owner’s people counted the face value at $1,849.56 which could be correct, but it is spread throughout the three heavy carton in bags, albums, stockbooks, etc. Fun lot to take care of and rescue its philatelic value.Cat. 236O*CVMainly United States assortment in three cartons. Comprises hundreds and hundreds of mint and used stamps in albums, binders, and small boxes. Involves a Lighthouse hingeless album having pages to 1972 sparely populated but does contain a mint White Plains sheet. Also entails a Lighthouse mint file having a small accumulation of sheets from 29 cents to 32 cents and a binder of postage which also contains two Legends of the West sheets. Lurking in another binder with postage is an autographed astronaut photo of Kenneth Cockrey. Includes a small better stockbook of useful, interesting mostly mint Canada, seven Iceland mint sets from 2003 to 2010, three small stock cards of PRC. Rounding out this eclectic lot is a box of US FDCs, covers, and postcards from 1904 to the 1990s including ten St. Louis World’s Fair postcards, and several boxes of US on paper.Cat.
