112CVGerman following the Japanese capture of Kiauchau in 1914, over 4,600 German POWs were transported to Japan for internment. Altogether, there were six camps: Aonogahara, Kurume, Nagoya, Narashino, Ninoshima and Band?. This small box lot includes 56 cards and covers from these camps. A variety of markings and their excellent condition, demands a serious look through. Includes two out of print tomes (in German from the 1960s) that help explain the markings. Should be some competitive interest in this humble, but valuable, lot.Cat. Value: S. B. 1,000.00

113CVGerman cover accumulation in a medium carton. Consists of roughly 75 covers and postal stationery what appears to have been a former exhibit on pages of Arnstadt from 1699 to 1970s following its postal history from Thurn and Taxis, Thuringia, and DDR. Also includes around 90 loose covers and postal stationery from Rudolstadt from the 19th century to 20th century that was found with the other covers.Cat. Value: S. B. 500.00
