Better used numbers are 1 x3, 2 x2, 20, 27, 29, 36-37, 67 x2, 72, 78, 100-101, 118, 121, 122 x2, 153, 191, 241-242, 245, 276A, 278, 291-292, and 523. Mint numbers are 67, 77 x2, 78, 121, 152, 163, 208, 216, 219D, 239-240, 658-679 two sets ea and C13-C15 no gum. Condition is quite mixed. A tremendous amount of catalog value offered cheaply.Cat. 380*oA very old mostly used remaindered collection. Heavy hitting 19th century regular issues and commemoratives, decent scattering of Washington-Franklins, the ever present Airmails, Special Deliveries, Postage Dues, Parcel Post, Shanghai Overprints, Cut Squares, early Federal Ducks, and a bit of Confederate States. Useful used are numbers 9X1, 10X1, 2, 13-15, 17, 21, 23, 29, 33, 70, 75, 78, 83-84, 85C, 86, 89, 91-92, 96-97, 118-119, 121, 137-138, 153-154, 166, 191, 241, 276-277, 313, 523, and O11-O13. Mentionable mint are numbers 262, 459 single, 505 block of 6, 630, and O10. Condition is quite mixed as one would expect of a collection this old. Loads of catalog value. Remounting would be an improvement.Cat. Value: S. B. 5,000.00
Price Realized: $4,250.00
381*oDealer’s counterbook remainder stock. Every single stamp is counted in the over $30,000.00 retail. 21 counterbooks in all. The first two are packed with intermediate values. Decent Washington/Franklins clouded by a few coil singles with no certs. No certs throughout. Duplication is rampant in the used officials. The last two volumes hold the Marshall Islands and Palau figured at retail over catalog. In between is a preponderance of mint US that would best be housed in a face lot. It has all been given a retail of over face, but should be counted. Careful figuring must be done to effectively analyze any bid. Could be a bargain if the calculation is complete.Cat. Value: S. B. 4,500.00
Price Realized: $3,250.00
