| 113 | | Four interesting items. The first two are #U16 entires that are in rough shape, but historical collectable condition. Both are posted in Placerville, California and mailed to Port Washington, Wisconsin sometime after 1855. Next is a folded letter 1838 from France to “Danemarck par Hambourg” with lots of interesting markings. Intact and thought provoking. Last is a rare piece. Some sort of royal or court document ornately written and engraved, dated 1746, on heavy velum. Still in beautiful shape. Even has an ornate wax seal imbedded in a wooden holder dangling from a length of hand embroidered ribbon. Just too cool for a bulk lot. | Cat. Value: S.B. 200.00
