Includes Scott International and Junior albums, as well as a neat Russia collection from 1883 to 1978 in a Scott Specialty album having over 2,500 stamps in clear mounts. Also involves a Scott US Possession album with a slipcase containing Hawaii, Philippines, Canal Zone etc. and an original stockbook of Philippines with mostly blocks of four to 1940 having an owner’s tape of $583.15. Comprised of hundreds of mint and used stamps but with plenty of spaces to fill. Lots of nuggets to mine. A strong intermediate collection in itself, it holds a defective used #1 (pen cancel and thin) along with a partial Kansas/Nebraska set and plenty of others. The world collection is in 17 albums on Minkus pages in a mixed bag of binders to the early 1980s. Thousands and thousands of stamps fairly evenly interspersed. Includes Germany collection in a Scott Specialty album from 1919-1974 mostly mint stamps in black mounts, a 1981 Royal Wedding White Ace album collection, US stockbook of mint blocks from 1930 to 1960s, and three US stockbooks of State Revenues. Likewise entails an accumulation of Republic of Korea mint sets starting with Scott #1065-1066 to 1452-1455. Also includes counter, sales, stockpages and glassines mostly have not seen the light of day for years which could yield some surprises. Best parts include old remaindered collections of Germany, New Zealand, and Australia dormant from 1980, a mix of on and off paper to sort, a small pile of US face to extract from between tape sealed index card sandwiches (mainly 8˘-15˘) and a pile of old correspondence covers, mainly from stamp dealers 1945-1980. Entails US in 12 mainly various remaindered albums and stockbooks having most of the value in postage, UN various collections in 14 albums or binders with three #38’s, and an Israel collection in five albums and stockbooks from 1954 to the late 1990s. Also contains two neat binders of cinderellas, specimens, color errors and eight counterbooks of common material with an emphasis on British colonies. Rounding out this selection is an ancient Scott Junior International album which has a dubious catalog value $100,000.00 in 1995 according to the owner.
