COLLECTIONS, ACCUMULATIONS, STOCKS — UNITED STATES
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
121*oDuck stamps in four fairly packed red boxes on “102” size cards. Looks to be nearly 2,000 cards in all with duplication from #RW1 through RW80. Condition varies with mint NH next to mint ng, spacefillers next to superb, and signed next to unsigned. Productive duplication (RW1 x16, RW2 x22, RW3 x24, etc.). Lots of face value in the modern, and huge catalog overall. A turnkey comprehensive duck stock fit for any dealer.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,000.00
Price Realized: $5,500.00
122*oA powerful mint and used stock of officials from the last brick and mortar retail store in the Buckeye state. Well balanced with lower, middle and higher values. Includes the better departments such as Executives, State, and Navy. Condition is all over the board, with OG, NG, and RG present and some duplication. Very, very high catalog value in excess of $40,000.00.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,900.00
Price Realized: $5,500.00
123*State duck stamp collection on homemade display pages for all 50 state’s duck stamps to 2000. Well filled, missing only a couple for completion for the collection. Awesome completion. Huge catalog and face value. Includes many heavily promoted “errors and varieties” many of which are printer’s waste. Huge prices were paid for these investments. Includes almost all the better early state stamps such as: California #1, 2 rebacked, Illinois #1, 2, 3, and Michigan #2. The condition is superb probably most mint NH. Faults are listed by the owner. Best of all is a selection of 165 Governor’s stamps both signed and unsigned. The Dealer listed prices are extraordinary - some way over catalog. Along for the ride is a better than most state fishing stamp collection, an Audubon souvenir sheet collection, and a small Eagle topical group. This is an investment that will find its own level here on the secondary market where printer’s waste has little demand and true rarity is rewarded. A wonderful collection in great condition fit for any collector of duck stamps.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,600.00
Price Realized: $3,500.00
124*oAn extraordinary cut square stock from the last brick and mortar retail store in the Buckeye state. Condition is favorable. This mostly mint assembly can be a turnaround opportunity for a stock missing this area.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,500.00
Price Realized: $2,900.00
