844*oAn extraordinary original child’s mint and used collection from a family of influence. This impressive assembly has been hinged into a “the Ne Plus Ultra” Postage Stamp Album manufactured by Scott Stamp & Coin Co. circa 1940s. From the very beginning of the collection represents a bye gone era where condition wasn’t a high priority yet exposure to the hard to find early issues abounded. Issues of the 1847’s, 1851’s 1860’s, 1870’s Banknotes, late 19th century commemoratives and Bureaus (including the higher values), Washington Franklins, BOB (with a very nice selection of Officials and cut squares), U.S. Possessions (especially Hawaii) are well represented in both mint and used condition. The powerful mint numbers are 10x1, 10x2, 15, 22, 29, 32, 36, 37-38 (both damaged), 39, 75, 115-118, 120-122, 241-243, ($1 and $3 are OG), 291-293 (all OG), 312 OG, 658-679, J6 OG, J28, Q10-Q12, O1-O9, O10-O14, O32, (officials are ng.), U11, U13-U14, and U28-U29. The smaller astonishing used group are numbers 9x1, 1-2, 7, 9, 71-72, 97-98, 119, 137, 166, 191, 218 x2, 523, J27. As expected, condition is quite mixed, also prior to our involvement someone removed some of the higher value mint only to cause some thins. We also noticed other items not removed were stuck to varying degrees. In the meantime we respectfully remounted the items in question. A huge amount of catalog seldom seen in today’s market.Cat. This assembly is unpicked by wholesalers and was 20 years in the making that was very active up until September 30, 2014. This once in a lifetime opportunity is being offered as a turnkey enterprise with hundreds of hours of labor to be saved setting up another internet business.
