This impressive assembly has been hinged into a “the Ne Plus Ultra” Postage Stamp Album manufactured by Scott Stamp & Coin Co. circa 1940s. From the very beginning of the collection represents a bye gone era where condition wasn’t a high priority yet exposure to the hard to find early issues abounded. Issues of the 1847’s, 1851’s 1860’s, 1870’s Banknotes, late 19th century commemoratives and Bureaus (including the higher values), Washington Franklins, BOB (with a very nice selection of Officials and cut squares), U.S. Possessions (especially Hawaii) are well represented in both mint and used condition. The powerful mint numbers are 10x1, 10x2, 15, 22, 29, 32, 36, 37-38 (both damaged), 39, 75, 115-118, 120-122, 241-243, ($1 and $3 are OG), 291-293 (all OG), 312 OG, 658-679, J6 OG, J28, Q10-Q12, O1-O9, O10-O14, O32, (officials are ng.), U11, U13-U14, and U28-U29.
