Mentionable mint are numbers 327, 330, 399-400, 403, 461, E2, J35, J41-J42, Q7-Q11, and JQ4. Useful used are numbers 7, 14-15 (both with pen cancels, 20 pen cancel, 30A (SE), 119-121, 153-155, 166, 242 (damaged), and 291. Condition is mixed with several presentable items. 859*oA simple mixed used and mint old time 1851/1955 collection hinged in a Scott National album. Good selection of used 19th century which include better items like numbers 28, 30A, 71, 91, 119, 138, 153-155, 166, 217-218, and 240. The mint is lightly populated with cherries like numbers 311, 421, and 461. There is little in the way of airmails and back of the book. Condition is mixed. A very neat and orderly group that includes numbers 300-311, 331-341, 343-347 horz. pairs, 357-358, 551-573, 578-579, 658-679, 834, 1053, and Q1-Q12. There are regumming issues that have been taken into account. This assembly is overall very fresh appearing and well centered. A better than average collection that is worthy of expansion.Cat. 861*Compact assembly of lower and medium values. Mainly blocks, some plate blocks and singles. Mentionable blocks are numbers 288, 328-329, 476, 516-518, 547 center line, C1-C3, C5, C18, the better lone plate block is C4, singles include number 292 (damaged), Kansas-Nebraska sets. The centering is much better than normally encountered with several F-VF to VF. However, there are gum issues which range from slightly gum disturbed to very much disturbed to no gum. 862*oFour volume mint and used 19th and 20th century collection in Davo albums with slipcases. Volume 1 is the album that contains stamps. The early issues are used with items like numbers 75, 78, 112-117, 118, 120, 155, 166, 191, and 240. Better mint includes 179, 205, 211, (all the previous are ng) 229, and 275. In the 20th century you will spot a small scattering of Washington Franklins, commems, a Kansas set and a few early airmails. Condition very mixed with much average quality.
