LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1074*oItaly and areas two valuable counterbooks as assembled by a collector while he dreamed of becoming a dealer. Contains a wide selection of virtually all better sets or singles. Just a small sample includes (all mint) Italy 280-289, C95-C99, and J26, Aegean Islands 31-35, and Rhodes 15-23. Generally clean with a few faults and little, if any duplication, virtually every page is a pleasant surprise. If you look, you will bid.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,800.00

1075*oItaly and area advanced collection in three Scott Specialty albums to 1994. Difficult to evaluate with many stamps waiting to be mounted loose in the margins. Lots of sets mixed mint and used in the $5.00-$50.00 catalog range. Includes a strong San Marino collection along with an average Vatican City. Strongest in Italy (regular and airmails) 1930-1940 and 1945-1970 with many nice postwar sets. Careful scrutiny is necessary to find the value lurking near the spine of the albums. Worthy of the time necessary to mount it correctly.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
