| 1014 | | Germany and area collection of mainly used stamps in two Scott Specialty albums. Lots of power with problems. Many pages in the albums have stamps mounted with “miracle tape” that promised never to fail. The adhesive’s oils have migrated to the backs of the stamps causing irreparable staining that will only increase in damage over time. Some are conventionally hinged and are salvageable. The Berlin bunch, the airmail section, and a used Ostropa sheet seem to have escaped unharmed, but this lot with its huge apparent catalog value are offered, intact “as is”, to our most intrepid stamp reclamation experts. | Cat.
