892*oA useful 25 volume Scott International collection in somewhat delapidated albums. Many thousand different with much mint some of which are in mounts and appear to be most, if not, all NH. There are several extra pages to accommodate further stamps and souvenir sheets along with high values in the margins and stamps in glassines awaiting insertion. The China is by far the strongest especially the PRC. Also of interest in approximate order Japan, all totalled later period British colonies and post independant French colonies, US, Russia and Korea. The albums are arranged alphabetically so naturally the earlist album is of noteable value. Also as an added bomus there is a Bicentennial topical collection included. 893*oCVConsignment as received in five heavy cartons. Begins with an intermediate US collection in five volumes where the face is the bulk of the value and is in need of counting. Next is a topical collection with mainly mint sets from 1935-1980 with groupings of Paintings and Religion (good Portugal souvenir sheets), Flowers, and Butterflies. Canada, Great Britain and US year sets, modern mint collections of Japan and Liechtenstein, cover binders of FDCs (around 600) from US, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland, a wine box full of “new issues” some in original packing, and best of all a five volume mint collection of Switzerland 1918-1980 that includes high values from the Pax set, plate blocks of charities, a bug sheet, and most of the period’s souvenir sheets. The folding components make up this real sparkler; a U.S. 1987/1948 mint block collection that includes 285-286, 328-329, 368, 371, 373, 548-550, 614-621, 704-715, a U.S. 1967/2000 mint plate block, block and a few sheets, a U.S. Booklet collection, a U.S. used collection in a Blue American album, a binder with Columbus topical related that includes a used U.S. number 119, a few better singles that includes a U.S. used 240, an advanced elementary mint and used Canal Zone collection on White Ace pages, a Statue of Liberty topical collection, and finally, a small batch of Worldwide Columbus related single that includes of proofs. Comprised of three volumes of a rudimentary US collection well into the 1990s with over $800.00 face value counted, seven volumes of Harris pages international collection containing usually seen stamps (tens of thousands), a two volume El Salvador collection in Palo deluxe albums and slipcases (a couple hundred stamps), and enough other things to fill the cartons. 903*oDealer closeout bunch in four large heavy cartons. Begins with a seven volume White Ace mint collection of US and UN in slipcases. Around $400.00 face with #1053, 834, Prexies, Kansas-Nebraska, Farley’s, etc. With nothing before 1932 or after 1988. Three full volumes are UN with #38. The albums are neat and clean and expensive to replace. The rest is a messy bunch with a full carton of disorganized sloppy unsold lots of mixed US and foreign, a carton of worldwide on stocksheets and glassines that were once part of an old collection, an old International Jr. (remaindered), two binders of moldy smelling mainly US covers from the 1940s, and some loose Germany related material from the inflation period. Most of the weighty body is due to the enormous bulk of the packing materials (cardboard backers, thick plastic pages, artwork, etc.) that hide philatelic value. The US collection on “Heirloom” pages has the most value as it goes to 2002 and has many mint in mounts on the pages (est. face is $600.00+). The Germany is rather mundane with a collection in albums and ten small size stockbooks of mostly DDR. Some sand dunes groups round out the holding.
