High catalog value with most sets in the $2.00-$30.00 catalog range. Best topics include Europa (lots of the speculative earlies) in three volumes to the mid 1990s, art (mostly painters and their works), insects, mammals, sea creatures plus birds and flowers. Not at all complete for the period, but in extraordinary nice condition with many mint sets selected with a specific budget in mind. Each topic could stand alone or meld successfully into stock.Cat. Strongest in Russia, then probably Tanzania, Barbuda, Mongolia, and Hong Kong, then about 15 other countries, all with various duplication. All include mint NH sets and souvenir sheets, and numerous covers related in some way. We noted some used issues, booklets, blocks, ephemera, etc., and the QEII books start with her coronation and proceed through many royal events. While strongest in modern British Commonwealth, the Railroads, Churchill, and Hill include elsewhere in the world and earlier eras for added interest. Best are the two with examples of US banknote issues, a used Scott 122, a mint 315, 368 PB6, and 369, plus vending perf pairs, periodicals, officials, proofs, revenues, etc. all of which are subject to scrutiny. They also include more modern US issues in great depth, and various foreign topical stamps and souvenir sheets, while the other four books contain covers, stationery, and precancels, plus two cigar boxes hold fun and useful items to look through. Seven volume Scott International Airmail albums with a clean Volume one to 1935, then six volumes part two to 1950 with an A-Z organization.
