938*oA-Z plus US collection in a 1965 Harris Citation album supplemented to 1971 and expanded to three matching volumes. Includes many thousands of mixed mint and used stamps, with sets and some souvenir sheets scattered throughout. This may be the neatest Citation you ever run across, with blank space and pages carefully put to use, and with all stamps in tight waxed paper mounts squarely and firmly taped into place. Best is one whole carton of US with 3 cent to 22 cent plate blocks, two counterbooks of Hawaii, a counterbook of Canal Zone, etc. Also includes unsorted pages, bunches of Arab States sets and singles from the 1980s, several Liberia, a few Israel and many more. 942*oCVOne man’s collection as received filling 13 cartons in three parts. First is around a 30 volume collection of US in year order on old brittle black stockpages. Filled with multiples mainly garnered from mail collected over the last 70 years or so with an emphasis on the 1960s. Some volumes loaded with commemorative panels, Christmas seals, and other subscription items along with a similar A-Z 16 volume foreign. Secondly, mint US postage in sheets and plate blocks 1938-1975 with a few UN added. Includes many back faults and some no gum. Many are salvageable. At least $400.00 usable face. Lastly, several boxes of covers, postcards. Most nondescript commercial mail with pockets of interesting groups. Seventeen Civil War era covers, one Confederate and 16 US military railroad noted. Includes maybe 1,000 US and worldwide modern first day, event covers and cards, US and UN postage plus mint worldwide sets and singles on six binders of stockpages and in glassines. Plus, a tote box stock of mostly Chicago related first day ceremony programs from the 1960s to 1980s. One box holds the US and foreign stamps in folder lots and counterbooks, with a recalled Legends sheet plus some higher value postage intermixed. The rest of the boxes hold several thousand covers and picture postcards in a dozen shoebox size chunks. One each of oversize ephemera, PPCs, and foreign, two of mostly HD/HP modern covers, several of 19th and early 20th century postal history, and several more of assorted correspondence, events, plus a few FDCs. Being fairly easy to flip through, you will come across everything from stampless to Zeppelin flights, from unremarkable envelopes to cachet artist autographs, and all kinds of corner cards, events, frankings, and auxiliary markings in between. 947*oCVGroup of 11 assorted albums and stockbooks, with two Scott Nationals and a Specialty, two Minkus Globals, and other attractive volumes. By far the best is a National that includes Sc. 70-78, 119, and 120 used, plus 230-241, 285-290, 323-325, 369, 505, 658-679, and C1-C6 mint. Then there is postage worth counting with some full panes, two boxes of mostly early first day covers, and remaindered Germany and Canada of little consequence. The best is a Vatican mostly mint in a Lighthouse hingeless album having #35-40, 47-54, C18-C19, and C22-C23 to 1983, another Vatican in a Scott Specialty album to 1983, DDR to 1974 in an European style album. Spain from 1960s to 1972 in a Borek album, Liechtenstein from 1920 to 1996 in a Minkus album and US accumulation from 1920s to 1980s of coils, booklet singles, Farleys and BOB items on stockpages. There is also Japan, Canada, and Mexico with some content from various periods. The International Parts I-IV from 1947 through the 1950s are all lightly populated.
