850*oAn admirable mint and used stock containing numerous medium as well as higher values scattered about. Very good value in both 19th and 20th century front and back of the book. All have been identified by a reliable source and the catalog value has been noted. There are smaller groups are early commems, some regular issues, airmails, other B.O.B. and possessions. Strong sections are officials, revenues with many Reds, Greens, and Wines, private vending machine coils. Nice mixture of OG and NH. 851*oAn original 1847-1940 front of the book primarily used collection in a Scott album. Most of the spaces are filled minus the real expensive stuff. The far reaching used includes #’s 1-2, 7, 8, 9,12-13, 15-17, 20, 22 with a 1991 PFC, 23, 27, 28 with a 1990 PFC, 28A (includes a photocopy of a PFC), 29, 30A, 32-34, 29 with a questionable cancel, 70-72, 75-76, 85 damaged, 85B, 91, 92-101, 118-122, 144 with a 1985 PFC, 155, 166, 191, 217-218, 244, 261A-263, 276-278, 291-292, 310-313, and 523. The selected mint items are #’s, 37 n.g., 38 damaged, 116 with a PFC, 208, 210-211, 221-228, 230-243 (242 is n.g.), 245 n.g., 285-290, 293 OG., 369, 323-330, 366, 397-403, 461, 551-573, 581-591, 630, 658-679, 803-834, and 832b. 852*oA remarkable old time mostly used collection on Scott pages. Great assembly of 1847-1851 imperfs followed by a strong combination 1857-1868 perfed issues including some “August 1861’s and grills. Complete set of 1869 issues followed by a well built amalgamation of Banknotes both grilled and ungrilled up to the 90˘ values. With no letting up you will find spaces stocked with the early commemoratives and regular issues including dollar value Bureaus and some early coils singles with questionable origins. Washington Franklins are well represented. The collection stops about 1930 so there are early airmails, officials 1st through 3rd issues revenues, a tiny batch of cut squares and some ducks. The well defined used assemblage are numbers 1, 12-16, 18-19, 22-23, 27, 28, 29, 30A, 34, 37-38, 39 with a doubtful cancel, 67, 75, 83, 85, 100-101, 155, 166, 191, 241-242, 264-278, 292-293, 300-313, 523, R122, and RW1. The maniacal mint are numbers 4, 244, 245 (altered proof), C1-C6, C13-C14, Q10, and RW2-RW3 (both are noCat. Value: S.B. 6,000.00

853*oA mostly used old time valuable collection. There are impressive pockets of concentrated worth in the 1851-1856 imperfs, 1857-1861 perfed, 1861-1867 grills, 1869s, Banknotes up to the 90 cent. Also mixed mint and used dollar value Columbians, used watermarked and unwatermarked Bureaus. The Washington Franklins are almost entirely used except the important 5 cent color errors. Also spotted are a group of better booklet panes. The airmails and B.O.B are virtually all used and leave a just a bit of value on the table. However there are mixed mint and used Shanghai overprints. Better used items worth mentioning are numbers 9X1, 1, 2 pen cancel, 12, 13-15, 18-20, 28-29, 30A, 31-34, 37-38, 67, 70-72, 79, 83, 85, 89-91, 92-101, 138, 145-155, 156-166, 182-191, 217-218, 242-243, 291-292, and 311-313. Good mint are numbers 10x1, 3-4, 29, no gum and SE, 244, 245 (fake), 300b, 301c, 459, 358-359, 467, 505, and 630. Rounding out this astonishing assembly are Confederate States 1-14 mixed mint and used and a small batch ofCat. Value: S.B. 4,500.00

This basic assembly is missing the Washington-Franklin group.
