854*oAn original collection/accumulation of thousands of singles and sets identified and cataloged over the years on hundreds of 3x5 or smaller stockcards, but last cataloged in 1981 at the top of the market. Grouped by area or country, best are Benelux, Scandinavia, British, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, and Japan, then five other parts of the world. Emphasis was on worldwide classics, plus later sports sets and medium to better 20th century values, but faults and reprints were not taken into account, so you may find scattered high catalog value stamps with minor faults. Generally manageable duplication, careful attention is recommended to properly figure this material that has been unavailable for decades.Cat. Value: S.B. 5,000.00
Price Realized: $6,000.00

Best are a modern US topical collection matching US stamps including Presidents, WWII, National parks with a 1cent Farley sheet, and Famous people, etc., an interesting Philippines collection with a few nice sets, a worldwide Princess Di collection, a used Hungary stock on manila stockpages and a four volume Master Global world collection. Thought provoking, entertaining and of substantial value all at the same time.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $1,250.00
857*oCVOld time accumulation that was once a large collection. Now the best items have been removed by the owner and the rest remains in nine large heavy cartons. Includes a few (all remaindered) US collections in various albums. Lots of value in intermediate singles and sets often in duplication. Most of the value is in the US section with five of the nine cartons holding messy remaindered foreign hitching a ride. Most interesting are the remaining back of the book US with old documents and checks (mostly common) along with a couple stronger revenue runs. Bulky holding in need of comprehensive reorganization built to hold your attention.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00

And what U.S. grouping would not be complete without a batch of scrap postage.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,100.00
Price Realized: $4,250.00

Price Realized: $850.00
860*oCVFour carton remainder lot in two parts. First is a beginner collection of US and UN in two Scott Specialty albums to 1976 mainly sparse and mixed mint and used with the second volume filled with mundane US postal stationery. The second part is much more interesting with intermediate collections of Austria and Vatican. Best of all are two dozen or so old dealer counterbooks put together by a collector to organize his “better” material. Mostly packet stuff with an occasional surprise usually with small faults. This only scratches the surface which invites inspection.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $1,450.00
861*oCVMassive hoarder estate lot of remainders filling 15 gargantuan cartons. Semi culled down into useable parts including US FDCs, various subscription items, used US in quantity, a few well filled and not so well filled world albums (mainly beginner collections), stockbooks of various types, a country collection or two (noted a mentionable Germany and DDR album), and much more.
