COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — British
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
Lots 1132-1139 are British area homemade albums are the volumes remaining from a larger collection. Most countries are roughly in order, with precisely laid out identified spaces assigned for all stamps to about 1980, whether for present or missing values or varieties. Most modern topicals to the 1990's are in mint OG complete sets with some souvenir sheets, plus some sets go back to the kings era. Typically country selections become sparser in earlier reigns, but some even have useful Q.V. material. A valiant effort to collect the commonwealth that is now being fully disbursed.

1140*oVirgin collection that is much nicer than it first appears as it overflows a small stack of Scott International Junior pages. Familiar used or broken sets are scatted about as usual, while complete long sets, generally mint, lurk throughout these pages, plus on a few stockcards when they couldn’t be squeezed in. These long sets from all over the commonwealth, and nearly all preceding QEII, often approach or achieve completion in the margins, on other pages among scattered foreign stamps, or shingled under lower values. Remounting either on specialized pages or labeled stockcards will show off the real scope and value of this collection.Cat. Value: S.B. 10,000.00
Price Realized: $7,500.00
