| 900 | | Scouts on stamps wonderful collection in two sections. First, four volumes of mint, used, and on cover examples mounted chronologically on SOSSI pages to 1962. This includes various cachets, labels, imperfs, sheetlets, souvenir sheets, etc. We noted two 1900 Makefing stamps, 16 1918 Czechoslovakia stamps (with four covers), and 48 1920 Thailand overprinted stamps for starters, and 20 post WWII Russia displaced persons in Germany locals (with two covers) etc. Second, six volumes of worldwide first days, events and ephemera from the 1950s and 1960s mounted alphabetically by country on pages, with a full volume of US. Combination of mint and used with some covers interspersed throughout. Complete sets are present which are sometimes hard to find when assembling this topical. Vigilant inspection required for the owner often used a color copy of his best material in this collection while storing the best in a safety deposit box. Of course it includes primarily Middle East issues, but also those of all the other countries giving worldwide recognition to JFK, nearly complete with imperfs, souvenir sheets, etc, as shown on the pages.
