787*oMint collection in a usable Scott National album, with value mostly in Columbian to Prexy issues plus BOB. Significantly rearranged and remaindered, it still includes many fresh worthwhile singles and sets, plus mint and used selections of most possessions of the period. Just the type of material to excite the beginning to intermediate collector at discounted prices.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $500.00
788CV12 cartons filled with approximately 7000 mostly pre 1940 postal stationary and postalcards. Ranges from sorted and identified to rough sorted ready for identification. Did notice some pockets of better intermediate values in Scott types U76, U86, U89, U91, U93, U94, U95, the overprints of the 1920s, etc. a few officials and US possessions. Plenty of fun if you enjoy the process of postal stationery identification.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $500.00
789*Consignment remainder assembly on old auction pages and in glassines. Better items spotted were three blocks of the imperf 2¢ 1906 issue, a no gum block of six of #24, a few modern imperf pairs, some lower values airmails in blocks and plate blocks, J88 plate block, and 1¢ to 90¢ State Dept. officials (some are regummed, reperfed proofs). Condition is mixed with enough true value to warrant a quick analysis.Cat. Value: S.B. 350.00
Price Realized: $900.00
790*oThe tail end of a consignment in five cartons. Holds remainder collections with some salvageable albums, loose album pages, mint and used sorted in glassines, stockcards and stockpages of cheap stamps and gobs of uncounted postage. A gamblers lot.Cat. Value: S.B. 350.00
Price Realized: $1,450.00
791*oA compact 19th and 20th century regular issue and commemorative group on salespages. Also includes some loose album pages and a Scott National album and a 2005 Scott Classic thrown in for ballast. Condition is only average to fine. Would make a good starter assembly since most of the spaces are empty in the album that could be filled from the salespages.Cat. Value: S.B. 350.00
Price Realized: $350.00
792*oSouvenir card collection/accumulation of hundreds from the USPS, BEP, and others starting with the Philatelic Truck and running to 2000. Arranged in four sheet files plus loose, includes philatelic and numismatic, mint and cancelled and duplication throughout. We noted numerous better cards, but not intaglio ones from the 1980s. Would substantially bolster your stock.Cat. Value: S.B. 325.00
Price Realized: $500.00
793*oSix volumes of Minkus pages fairly solid with mint US singles from the 1930s to 1980s and mint US plate blocks from the 1930s to 1960s. Also a clean Scott Modern album of used. We didn’t count the face so you could have the fun.Cat. Value: S.B. 300.00
