COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — United States And General Foreign
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
823*75 volumes (all Lindner Hingeless) of one man’s mainly Europe and US collection predominately 1960-1990. Huge amounts were spent on these albums and pages that now need a good cleaning, disinfecting and culling. The pages of most are useful even though a few are severely water damaged. The binders are in better than serviceable condition with only two that need obvious repair. The stamps are mainly mint and in complete sets with some of the albums quite full and others (the majority) sparse. Enough face in US, Canada and Great Britain to figure in the total. Easily marketed on the internet as country albums, mint sets or even empty Lindner binders. Worth thoughtful consideration as this as a whole is conservatively offered.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,500.00
Price Realized: $2,100.00
824*oAccumulation in three cartons with pleasant surprises throughout. Includes several albums (three Dansco Internationals are the best), cigar boxes, covers, stockbooks and miscellaneous. Very good value in the 19th and 20 century US. Also US postage to factor in. Interesting lot.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,800.00
Price Realized: $1,350.00
825*oCV24 cartons plus a tube stamp and cover monstrosity from the midwest. Mystery for those that dare to look for all that lurks throughout. No time for us to breakdown, so here’s your chance to buy and make lots. Good eBay potential.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,500.00
Price Realized: $1,500.00
826*oOne man’s “just for fun” collection as received. Focus is on older issues often mounted in parallel Scott album collections. International, International Junior, Old rebound Brownies, and a couple of cheapies were all used to house his duplicated collections. Plenty of stamps mainly the familiar run of the mill varieties. He was a trader so a few albums appear remaindered but were used to upgrade countries in other albums. Intact as received with just enough US to land it in this category. Not much power just a lot of well loved collectable stamps looking for a new conservator.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,500.00
Price Realized: $2,100.00
827*oCollection of hundreds of mint and used stamps in 21 Senior Stateman, Kenmore and mismatched album binders from early 1900s to mid 1990s. Somewhat sparse in some areas but enough to peak your interest. Condition of stamps varies. Many topical interspersed throughout to crowning your interest in this lightly remaindered collection. Highlights embrace Russia, Mexico, Haiti, Hungary, DDR, etc. Also counted in is an United States collection from 1893 to the mid 1980s with mint postage to 22 cents.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,250.00
Price Realized: $1,050.00
828*oCVEnd of the road lot in 16 large heavy cartons. Includes subscription offerings, US, UN, and Canada FDCs, a remaindered US, UN or foreign collection or two, and a few country folder groups. Innumerable possible small lots to be gleaned from this conglomeration of relatively inexpensive material. Pounds and pounds of stamp fun.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,100.00
Price Realized: $1,050.00
829*oEstate collection as consigned filling five large heavy cartons. The best is the clean three volume US Scott Specialized National album collection to 1985 with a mint White Plains sheet and #C4-C5, plus a dozen or so Duck stamps including a used RW1. Plenty of face to count in the box of plate blocks and sheet files that are scattered throughout the boxes. Plenty of value in the US alone. Also includes a nice beginner worldwide collection in a bulging Statesman album of the same time period. Other highlights include a UN collection and an intermediate Vatican City collection. A myriad of stockbooks and organized foreign ready for inclusion are present, too. Perfect for continuation with nothing removed. Suitable for the general collector to take over and upgrade. A lovely collector made holding.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $1,250.00
830*oAccumulation of revenues in two old time albums. One album is an old time British North America album with outstanding Canada including first, second, and third Bill stamps, Supreme Court, and provincial law stamps. Many high face value ones noticed. The best in the other album are an interesting mixed condition lot of “match and medicine” and “tax paid stamps” including some the larger size examples. Also includes Swiss, French, British, and other foreign revenues that make a truly interesting lot to view.Cat. Value: S.B. 900.00
Price Realized: $2,600.00
831*oEclectic selection from about two dozen countries neatly lined up in a slim stockbook. Some countries include expensive Queen Victoria classics, while some include only Princess Di. 832*oFour large heavy cartons with mixed US and worldwide in stockbooks, remaindered collections, glassines and loose. Best is an average three volume Scott National album into the 1980s mainly used and in mixed condition. Also noticed a small amount of mint mostly face with an occasional intermediate value. Could be a good value if you need this kind of rudimentary material.Cat. Value: S.B. 900.00
Price Realized: $1,100.00
833*oCVSeven packed to the brim cartons full of worldwide and US stamps and cover collections and accumulations that we didn’t have time to visit. Could be some goodies if you dare to get to the bottom of it all.Cat. Value: S.B. 700.00
Price Realized: $800.00
834*oCVBalance of a consignment put together long ago as a personal collection in four large cartons. By far the most valuable is the US holding in three Lighthouse albums on custom made quadrille pages. As this was a labor of love almost everything is used sometimes in mixed condition. Three pages of classics give way to two pages of banknotes. Also includes Columbians to 50 cents, studies of civil war era cancels, Washington Franklins, and an “as is” set of used Kansas Nebraska. Covers are strategically placed for impact in this group that goes into the early 21st century. A few modern mint sheets are the only face and three boxes of foreign fodder add to the bulk but are less than a quarter of the value. Interesting intact collection sure to please collector and investor alike.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
Price Realized: $750.00
835*oCarton with a variety of material in several binders. Includes US and UN postage, Grenada, North Korea, Cuba, Korea, Mongolia and more. Mostly modern material. Could be broken down by country. Take a look, it might be a bargain.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
Price Realized: $650.00
836*oA disorganized United States and Worldwide accumulation in two Regency albums, an unused Liberty album, several kid’s albums and approval books. Most of the value is in the United States postage types with a few better items like mint 294-299 and C18, used 241 and 242. Also contains a small batch of picture postcards. Very rough condition. Much eBay potential.Cat. Value: S.B. 600.00
Price Realized: $550.00
837*oCVTwo banker’s boxes packed with smaller units ready for a bourse dealer’s table. Eclectic in nature ranging from better Great Britain booklets to US revenue documents and covers. Tough to describe as the enclosed is varied and mainly unrelated. Needs a thorough figuring to see the value here. Improves with viewing.Cat. Value: S.B. 600.00
Price Realized: $475.00
838*oFour large hefty cartons. 840*oBalance of an interesting mainly Germany consignment containing all the leftover parts after standalone lotting. 18 stockbooks and binders along with six small cover albums packed with mint German stamps are included. Two stockbooks of common US, Germany BRD collections, some Hitler head sheets in a sheet file, a stockbook of German perfins, and some expensive Lindner albums with stamps are the highlights. Low to medium value stamps for the most part but enough of them to have value.Cat. Value: S.B. 450.00

Price Realized: $450.00
842*About 1,400 apparently all different cinderellas from all eras. Includes products, companies, exhibitions, political causes and all sorts of people, places, and things. Carefully arranged in two slim stockbooks in no apparent order, except that “sets” may be together, so browsing all pages is needed for full effect.Cat. Value: S.B. 425.00
Price Realized: $290.00
843*oAccumulation of cinderellas of all sorts. Includes primarily foreign revenues loose and on piece, advertising/political/historical labels in brown glassines, and Scandinavia Christmas seals on pages. Generally disorganized with unknown duplication since anything non Scott (and a few actual stamps) was tossed in here when old collections were broken down, you get to dive in and look around.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $450.00

Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $400.00
847*oSmattering of useful items closing out a consignment. US includes a fairly typical NH/mint/used collection in a Liberty album to 1970, with a much nicer presentation than usually seen, and a metal filecard box of organized PBs from the 3¢ era. Worldwide includes familiar stamps neatly organized in a large stockbook, plus other items to browse through. Worth a look.Cat. Value: S.B. 375.00
Price Realized: $210.00

If you are not excited enough yet make sure to take a quick look at a small salesbook with an owner’s catalog of over $5300.00 A savvy marketer could use this lot to salt other uninteresting box lots.Cat. Price Realized: $260.00
852*oCVAccumulation packing seven large heavy cartons chock full of unsorted FDC’s, remaindered stockbooks and albums (few empty or almost so), loose stamps (in small boxes or floating), broken album pages and other floor sweeping types. Enough here for a month of Sunday’s work and more fun than a barrel of monkeys albeit a small barrel.Cat. Value: S.B. 250.00
Price Realized: $260.00
853*oCVGeneral dealer floor sweepings lot some of which is there because of poor aim to a circular file. Expect loose US and foreign, routine covers (just a few), some savagely remaindered to empty albums and stockbooks, and enough subscription remainders to be bothersome. Will make a nice project for an addicted sorter with the possibility (slight) of a find or two in this three large carton consignment.Cat. Value: S.B. 200.00
