Germany/DDR/Berlin mostly 1949-1953 issues mint OG, plus a lot of other mid 20th century material, specialist occupation sheets, and a shoebox with obscure varieties are the best. Japan is next with two clean Scott Specialty albums that appear nearly complete mint NH from 1958 to 1998, plus other material. Highlights include old world albums (one 1894 Scott limited and an Excelsior oblong), a binder of dealer approvals and stockbooks of what 40 years ago used to be intermediate values. Price Realized: $1,800.00
1329*oCVBalance of a large meaty consignment containing all the material that would not fit into single lots or were unsuitable for inclusion in others. Price Realized: $850.00
1337*oCollection of hundreds of mint and used stamps in an old Schaubek album from the 1920s. Price Realized: $650.00
1338*oThe remnants from an old accumulation housed in six large cartons. Filled with folder lots from long forgotten stamp dealers, small country collections sorted in aged glassines, stockbooks, counterbooks plus whole sheets. This one will take some extra time to view as there are bound to be “finds” in this disheveled group that was lost decades ago.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,250.00
Price Realized: $8,000.00
1339*oRetired dealer stock in eight red boxes on “102” size cards all sorted alphabetically in country, mostly Germany. Owner’s catalog figured by the box is over $15,600.00 in total. 1340*oExtremely well cared for original collection in 14 sturdy Scott International albums to the early 1980s, with a few covers from the main areas as a bonus. The one Scott Specialty Scandinavia album demonstrates this collector’s emphasis in that area. Other areas of emphasis are Great Britain and British Commonwealth in four albums with strength in early 1960s complete sets, most likely mint NH, and Chile/Czechoslovakia/Hungary/Vatican City combined in one album. The rest of the world is in nine A to Z albums housing earlier and later material. Reserve two shelves and plan to continue where this collector left off, or rearrange it your way.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $1,350.00
1341*Large dealer backstock of mainly mint NH modern sets with up to ten of each. Three boxes are evenly separated by catalog value into three manageable lots (A-G, G-J, and L-S). Best is a group of Sierra Leone with a catalog value of $2,100.00. Lots of marked catalog value (owner’s count of $15,350.00). Enough here for the astute wholesaler to make a dollar or two. An “investment group“ for sure.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $900.00
1342*oCVFinishing touches from a large valuable consignment in 17 hulking cartons. Almost anything might be in here as the owner has just cleaned out a large storage room of stuff he was going to work up someday. Expect to see subscription offerings on many topics, FDC from various places (mostly US, UN), bunches of beginner collections and a few stockbooks of collections and duplicates from many sources. A pleasing lot for the flea marketer or internet maven worthy of inspection.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00

Condition problems along with misidentification and catalog changes from 2008 to present require a careful examination to determine a fair price. Useful lot with much of the work done for successful recycling.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $2,100.00
1344*oSmall carton of leftovers each part almost a stand alone collection in this auction.
