826*oCVThe bulk remainder for this auction of the US postal stationery stock from the Thomas Woolley inventory. Retired long ago, this stock has been locked up in a back room for the last 18 years. In Scott order with annotations from the UPSS catalog, it is ready to go. From 1¢ to 29¢ face, this group of 208 boxes (nearly 1,500 pounds) finishes the stock. Hard to get a handle on its value as there are huge multiples of some that would skew any catalog value. We examined it carefully to get an estimate of its useable face value (each box carefully annotated on the front) and left the cataloging up to the buyer removing none of the varieties. Useable face value of around $6,700.00 with no bulk rate, FDC, used or non-profit counted. Huge catalog with interesting variations and enormous duplication for the buyer to glean into stock and recycle the multiples. Could be a great boon to any dealer or collector.Cat.
