Some variable condition as some had been mounted long ago into a scrapbook. Light manageable duplication. Noticed some Generals and many multi colored cachets along with a few Reconstruction pieces. These were mainly selected and priced for their cancels. Noticed lots of RPO markings that are identified by Towle number. Good lot ready for sorting. 758CVUS covers from a consignment filling three large cartons. Mostly US FDC in all conditions. Many are unaddressed and cacheted. Seems to begin in the Thirties and move up through the 1980’s, mixed condition. Noticed some nice Famous American blocks and some early postal cards with fancy cancels while repacking. 760CVMostly FDC filling four large cartons and a carton of mint postal stationery. At one time was organized but at this time only moderately so. Several thousand. Appears to begin in the late 1930’s and progresses up to modern times. Many different cachet makers are represented leaning toward the more common. Did notice a number of Fluegel cachets. Some better FDC also seen (ten cent Famous Americans etc.). Mixed condition includes both addressed and more unaddressed. Some are still mounted in albums while others are loose. Includes 285-290 Trans-Miss to the 10¢ from NYC to Switzerland, 323-327 LA Purch from St. Louis to France with a NYC exchange label, and 397-400 Pan-Pac from Griffin Corners NY to Bavaria.
