LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
907*oCarton full of foreign and US country collections. Includes a two volume Venezuela, Canada with postage, used Switzerland in a box of #1 glassines, plus Egypt, Uruguay, Korea, several US, and others on various pages. Price Realized: $1,250.00
908*oTwenty-four volume Minkus “Master Global” albums to 2003. A mixture of flat-back and round-back binders indicates that this collection was formed over many years. Thousands and thousands of stamps. Strength is in the many post 1978 mint sets that are included. One whole album is dedicated to St. Vincent. Other strong areas include Canada and US. Lots of face value to figure in. The work of assembling the pages and organizing them into a viable form has already been done. This is an excellent start that deserves continuation, for under the cost of the albums themselves.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,900.00
Price Realized: $1,700.00
909*oAggregation in a stockbook with a few hundred stamps including several higher catalog items. Better countries are Austria, Great Britain, Costa Rica and a US RW1 NH with a straight edge. Interesting lot, take a look.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,400.00
Price Realized: $950.00
910*oEleven large cartons containing starter collections, collection remainders, club auction lots, full “102” size card red boxes, loose, etc. Some has significant water damage (with some salvageable material) and much is okay.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,400.00
Price Realized: $1,600.00
911*oCVWorldwide mint and used issues from A to Z countries arranged in ten slim binders of manila stockpages. Also used US Bureau definitives filling a similar binder. Includes thousands of stamps, both in a wide variety and in considerable depth, plus hundreds of commercial covers, generally all from the first half of the 20th century. Browsing through all of this is recommended.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,350.00
Price Realized: $900.00
912*oFDCConsignment remainder in five cartons. Includes a four volume Scott International collection, another unrelated Scott International with “H” countries, well over a 1,000 US FDC, over a dozen 3 ring binders with approval pages, a couple Citations plus more. Good eBay potential.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,250.00
Price Realized: $1,000.00
913*oBalance of a good, old-timer’s consignment in three large cartons. US in boxes, stocksheets, old album pages, and in a couple of dealer salesbooks, seems to be the highlight. Also includes a somewhat remaindered two volume Scott Speciality Germany and plenty of nice foreign to spend a weekend with. Thousands of stamps ready for reorganization. Noticed some face Canada to count, too. Value is spread out throughout the boxes so careful viewing is a must.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $2,000.00
914*oCVEstate balance of mixed US and foreign in 10 large cartons. A two volume pedestrian US collection on White Ace pages starts the lot. Continues with thousands of stamps stored in all sorts of ways. Noticed a nice pocket of Bahamas along with two red boxes of stamps on “102” size cards (good Canada and world). Also saw some nice Scandinavia. Plenty of pickings with much reorganization necessary. If you like a challenge, this lot’s for you.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,200.00
Price Realized: $4,000.00
915*oCVBalance of a valuable consignment in 12 large, heavy cartons. While repacking noticed remainder collections, subscription items, US mint year sets, a nice White Ace Vatican collection, a five volume Scott International, a two volume Minkus Master Global, some postage to count, some odd leftover covers and several interesting foreign stockbooks. Plenty of likeable stuff to recycle profitably.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $1,000.00
916*oCVSix carton consignment covering the world. Many subscription items, gold stamps, FDCs, Bicentennial and Royal marriage, etc. Also includes some nicer items. Noticed a 2 volume Davo Denmark collection, a Canada secret mark study, dealer pages of Hawaii and small silver bracelet. Many useful items for the flea marketer or listing on the internet. A good look might score you a healthy profit.Cat. Value: S.B. 900.00
Price Realized: $700.00
917*oBalance of consignment as received. A little bit of Canada, a large group of Israel and some US face make up the bulk of this lot. Noticed mostly everything was accumulated during the early 1960’s. Noticed Israel 1-9, UN 38, some Canada Year sets and a couple of used beginner world collections while repacking. Use your sharpest pencil to figure the right bid for this intact group.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00

918*oCVBalance of a large consignment in fourteen cartons. A true “kitchen-sink” lot with many different items. Noticed US mint plate blocks, a US National album or two, UN postal stationery, US mint year sets, shoeboxes of semi-sorted foreign stamps, an average UN collection to 1981, a few hundred PPC, subscription items, US uncut sheets, some face US, a box marked “better US”, and some first day programs and FDC. Lots of bulk. Would keep a sorter busy for a few weeks. Must be viewed to come up with the correct value.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $1,000.00
919*oCVTail end of a consignment that is predominately US filling ten large boxes. Thousands of mainly used stamps in collections, on cover, loose, on album pages, in glassines, etc. The bulk of the value is in the several thousand FDC organized in all sorts of ways. Some bulk used and some subscription items round out the lot. Enough mint present to make face value a consideration. Hard to figure as it is difficult to get to the bottom of every box. Lots of potential to the persistent buyer.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $500.00
920*oOne man’s worldwide collection in several mismatched binders on mismatched pages. The good news is that he collected good stamps, just not good albums. The two brown Harris’s are the best. US, Japan, Monaco, Philippines and Ryukyu Islands are quite strong, as these were his countries of interest. Don’t miss the full sheet of Japan #406 in a mint sheet file filled with seals. Have a look to see many more good items.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $950.00
921*oFour cartons of mixed contents. A few of the more mentionable are collections of US, China, Mexico, Brazil, France (with $1,000.00 catalog value), Yugoslavia and a seven volume used PNC collection. 922*oConsignment as received which is highlighted by the three sparsely populated but very clean Scott “Browns” which are the 1901-1920, 1920-1929 and the 20th century part three volumes. The rest consists of US sheets and plate blocks, stamps sorted by country in envelopes you can’t see into and Mystic offerings.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
Price Realized: $600.00
923*oCVConsignment collection/accumulation as received. A lot of material to play with.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00

Boxes of general foreign organized A–Z, US in Scott order and several boxes of topicals are included. Mostly the more common but an occasional medium value one peeks through. 925**FDCStock of NH sets and souvenir sheets from the mid 1970’s to the mid 1980’s.
