WORLDWIDE COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — General Foreign
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1266*oThe “ELO to GER” countries portion of a quality worldwide collection on clean 1840-1940 Vintage Reproduction pages. France and area plus Germany and area included in this album. Many opportunities for better sets and singles with this collection not disappointing. As seen in the scans, many pages are complete, but generally mixed mint and used, including seldom-seen stamps abound. Viewing is recommended to fully appreciate the overall freshness, quality and usefulness of this material.Cat. Value: S.B. 12,500.00
Price Realized: $9,500.00
1267*oThe balance of one man’s worldwide collection housed on Minkus pages in 41 volumes. Most of the Commonwealth and a few other countries are offered elsewhere in this sale but what remains is a very worthwhile and pleasing collection. The stamps are mounted on pages running to about 2005 and are mixed mint and used with the mint often in mounts and never hinged. Strength is in the 1940 to 1980 period with comparatively less in the 19th century. A few highlights we noted while repacking include (all mint) Korea 287a-289a, Switzerland B132 and B178, and the Iceland Parliament set. Perfect for either continuation or breakdown. Inspection invited.Cat. Value: S.B. 8,000.00
Price Realized: $5,000.00
1268*oThirty nine albums (mostly Scott Specialties) holding thousands of mint and used stamps. The albums are labeled “traders” with issues running to the 1960’s. Much is shingled up as duplicates and the number of complete sets is below average but many better values throughout as this is from an old holding of an advanced collector. Worth inspection.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,500.00
Price Realized: $5,500.00
1269*oSeveral thousand mostly different rather unevenly disturbed in eighteen Scott International albums. The arrangement is confusing as its done geographically, geopolitically and chronologically by year. There may even be more than one collection here but what is evident is that issues run into the 1980’s and the Western Europe along with their colonies and associated areas are quite strong. The Latin America and Far East are also notable. Overall many mint sets.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,250.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00
1270*oA ten volume Scott International collection of thousands of stamps going into the 1970’s. Well balanced and clean lot. Spotted better classics in many countries. Price Realized: $2,400.00

Includes NH or OG and used sets and singles of generally lower to medium value, but they haven’t been cataloged in some years. Nine are British, four are Germany, seven are other Europe and four are from elsewhere. Only scattered light duplication. A lot of useful material that needs a little work before integrating it into your stock.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,600.00
