COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — Scandinavia
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1126*oScandinavia collection of all eight countries in three extraordinarily neat and clean Scott specialty albums to 1989. Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden are approaching completeness, generally used. Some additional classics and modern mint se-tenants, souvenir sheets, etc. Aland, Faroes and Greenland have a range of NH sets in addition to the used stamps. Scans illustrate how every page was mounted and there are still just enough holes to make continuation interesting. Enjoy.Cat. Value: S.B. 6,000.00
Price Realized: $4,500.00
1127*oScandinavia an excellent collection of Iceland and Norway hinged on Specialty pages. The Iceland has five used stamps in the earlies, otherwise it is all mint and includes 71-85, 99-107, 108-128, 152-166 and much more. Appears to be missing only six stamps in the regular issues, only the Hopflug set in the airs and some other BOB for completion from 1908 to 2005. The Norway begins with a large margin #1 and is missing only #26 and the watermarked V overprint series of 1941 for completion to 2005 with everything after 1910 mint. A lovely, original collection that is nicer than usually seen.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,500.00
Price Realized: $3,000.00
1128*oScandinavia lovely collection of Greenland and Sweden hinged in a Specialty album. The Greenland is virtually complete mint to 2002 including 10-18, 19-27, and Q1-Q11. A few of the highlights are (mint) 197-212, 213-228, and B1-B31, (used) LX1-LX2, plus strong officials. Overall condition is a plus.Cat. Value: S.B. 3,250.00
