COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — Asia
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1090*oAsia powerful collection in a Schaubek album with hundreds of stamps (1850-1917). China and Japan are the best with a catalog value of $3,800.00. Also good British, French and Portuguese colonies. Spotted high value stamps that catalog in the hundreds. A few in the back are stuck. From an old holding that was in a steamer trunk. Not to be missed, an unpicked lot.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $2,200.00
1091*oAsia collection, about 55% Iran, 13% each India and Iraq with the rest being Afghanistan, Nepal and Pakistan. Mounted on Scott International pages to 1968 and beyond, early pages often have extra stamps in the margins while later ones are quite solid with NH sets and some added souvenir sheets. The substantial dubious early Iran has been figured accordingly.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
Price Realized: $1,050.00
1092*oAsia collection in six binders and albums with about one half of the value in Laos to 1998 and appears to be mostly complete mint. Also includes Mongolia, Cambodia, Tannu Tuva and Japan. A very desirable holding.Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
Price Realized: $700.00
1093*oAsia a few thousand mostly different mounted in ten Scott Specialty albums. Includes issues from over a dozen countries from the Middle East, Asia Minor, Sub Asia and the Far East. Several countries are repeated mint and used. The albums and pages are clean so these are great candidates for continuation.Cat. Value: S.B. 500.00
Price Realized: $900.00
