By far the strongest material is to be found in the 19th century and early 20th century “browns”. Spend some time with each album as there are higher values throughout. 880oSixteen plastic tubs containing clean, attractively assembled packets of all different commemoratives. Fifteen of them are arranged by country A to Z. A random sampling of two tubs came up with the following results: Ghana through Indian states held 166 packets with a total of 15,737 stamps and Poland through Russia held 73 packets with a total of 9,940 stamps. Viewing the rest, indicates most of the tubs lean closer to the last mentioned then the first. This is a turnkey lot with a tremendous amount of labor already included.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,200.00

884*oAn interesting collection put together many decades ago mounted on mostly homemade pages in four Scott binders. The U.S. is strongest with classics in fairly rough condition but some surprises including 241,242 (used), 630 (mint) and C1-C6 (mixed). The foreign is difficult to figure as there is a little British and other areas for which the collector apparently never made pages. Highlights including six Cape triangles, all used, a few classic China (no large dragons), Denmark 8 and 82, France 226b and Italy 117-118 mint. Overall condition ranges wildly.
