| 1179 |   | Russia and area stock in glassines haphazardly “arranged” in twelve glassine boxes. Contains a wide range from classics to about the year 2000. Mint (both hinged and never hinged) is more prevalent than used with thousands of stamps in all. The areas are Ukraine, Tannu Tuva, Armenia and the like with similar coverage to the mother country. Just a few of what we spotted were (mint) Russia 520 (26 copies, most NH); C83-C90, B9 and B12 with specimen overprints. There are also three airpost officials one being CO6 signed “Dr. Dub.” A useful group with many varieties noted that would bolster any stock or collection. | Cat. Value: S.B. 1,900.00

| 1180 | | Russia and area collection of thousands in a well filled Scott album to the 1970’s. It is difficult to determine exactly what is here as there are many stamps loose between the pages, but we did note (mint) 548-550 and 554. There are many duplicates ‘shingled up’ on top of each other as well. The areas are not as good as the Russia proper but still have some useful pickings. Take a look, you might get excited. | Cat. | 1183 | | Russia and offices an old mounted collection of several hundred to about 1950 on Scott Specialty pages. Mixed mint and used but with many of the desirable sets mint. The offices are stronger than usual. | Cat. Value: S.B. 800.00

| 1184 | | Russia areas collection on Scott pages filling a small binder. Begins with good Estonia ‘Eesti Post’ overprints including 22 (used on piece), then progresses through small groups of Michel listed Pernau overprints, Russian revenues and other BOB. Then there is a very nice section of Armenia that has (mint) 190A and 206, interesting Azerbaijan, Batum, Far East Republic, Georgia, Karelia, Lithuania, Mongolia (including mint 23 signed) and South Russia. The collection ends with Tannu Tuva, Transcaucasion Federated Republics and Ukraine. Overall condition is F-VF but many of the overprints have been historically fertile ground for forgeries, so we’ll leave it up to you to study which are real and which may not be. | Cat.
