COLLECTIONS AND ACCUMULATIONS — British
LotConditionDescriptionValue/Bidding
1219*oCollection mounted in four Gibbons New Age albums for the reigns of KEVII and KGVI. Substantially filled with fresh stamps per Gibbons perf and color varieties. Some sets are incomplete or mixed mint and used, but most are complete mint and those stamps that are lightly stuck due to careless hinging should pop up OK. An appealing presentation with many better items throughout all books.Cat. Value: S.B 2,900.00
Price Realized: $5,500.00
1220*Five large Lighthouse stockbooks containing mostly mint NH. Mainly complete sets starting in the mid 1930’s and running to the late 1970’s. Strongest in the QEII period but better throughout. Only a few duplicates and some non British intermixed.Cat. Value: S.B. 2,800.00
Price Realized: $2,000.00
1221*oDealer stock of mint and used singles and sets worked up on new salespages in eight small salesbooks. Includes material from Great Britain and her dominions that would supplement your stock to varying degrees due to uneven coverage and duplication. Price Realized: $1,700.00
1222*Selection of nearly all fresh mint OG or NH sets on black stockpages. More than two dozen colonies are represented with material from all reigns, but predominately kings. We noted about 40 assorted pound values among the many better issues and light duplication even of these desirable stamps. An unusually good opportunity so tally carefully.Cat. Value: S.B 2,500.00
Price Realized: $6,500.00
1223*oAccumulation with about two dozen little country lots with many mint sets. Better countries are Australia, Gibraltar, Great Britain, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands. Clean, fresh lot ready for resale.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,900.00
Price Realized: $1,300.00
1224*oA mixed group with many better. Includes lots of mint OG or NH sets and short sets with the later good for the key values plus high values with fiscal cancels. Also worthwhile Egypt and Indian states group. Overall high catalog total with much useful throughout.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,500.00
Price Realized: $1,150.00

Many useful mint or used sets throughout.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,500.00
Price Realized: $1,050.00
1226*oCollection of “B” countries in a Scott specialty album. Bermuda is very strong with good Queen Victoria’s, King Georges then mostly complete from the 1940’s to 1990’s. British Honduras is also strong with a similar makeup of stamps. Considerable value.Cat. Value: S.B 1,150.00
Price Realized: $1,000.00
1227*Collection from 1949 to 1958 artfully arranged on quadrille pages in three small Gibbons springback albums. Generally all different and in complete sets, including varieties and omnibus sets. 1228*oExtensive accumulation with material from all over the empire in two boxes with albums, stockbooks, salesbooks, “102” size cards and loose material. Spotted many complete mint sets. Lots of material to go through, viewing recommended.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00
1229*oA large carton of revenues in every format. Some of what we noticed as we repacked the lot was a plastic storage box with items from all over the commonwealth arranged alphabetically on approval cards, embossed revenue types from Great Britain both on document and cut out, interesting Straits Settlements on document, a large binder of Great Britain from all eras, much South Africa in folder lots, more South Africa and area in a binder and much more. Euphoria for the specialist or opportunity for the neophyte.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $3,750.00
1230**oStock from all reigns and all corners of the Commonwealth in four well used red boxes of “102” size cards. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $750.00
1231PGroup of 96 different specimens from 16 commonwealth countries mounted on black stockpages.
