It is organized in a time line from 1918 to the 1990s or by subject and was acquired over a lifetime. This is the United States section of the Worldwide airmail and Zeppelin cover consignment. 976CVHuge collection of about 4,000 RPO covers, mostly from the 1930s and 1940s with a few earlier or later. Many have been carefully annotated with rail line data, with duplicates, but have since gotten out of order in the various file boxes. We noted a few HPOs and a few cachets, but mostly these covers are ordinary personal correspondence that happened to be sorted on the rails. 977FDCCollection of FDCs from 1924 to 2002 in 53 White Ace albums of various vintages. The more than 5000 covers run from mostly uncacheted in the earlier period as usual, through an assortment of cachets in the middle period, to all Artcraft until 1995 when they switched to Farnam.
