| 1423 | | Russia and Area collection in a pair of Scott Specialty albums. Volume one starts with the ‘area which doesnt amount to much but does include Tannu Tuva 15-34 mint. The Russian czarist period is mostly filled but not always with the right stamp. Nevertheless, there are some good items in better than usual condition. The early Soviet period is good and really picks up steam from 1935, being virtually complete, mostly mint to about 1948. After 1948, the collection is increasingly used. The BOB is not as good as the regulars but does contain some good airs such as (mint) C12-C13, C15-C19, C65, and C75a. Volume two is filled with mostly used; mostly complete regular issue from 1959 to 1975. A solid lot worthy of your examination. | Cat. Value: S.B. 650.00
