Along with the multitude of better values and sets there is much specialized material. Includes types, plate flaws, shades, a whole book dedicated to early cancels with 170 items, perf varieties, paper varieties, scarce reprints, imperfs, overprint errors and much Scott unlisted. 1359oPortugal used stock to the 1960Ős overflowing a battered stockbook. Most issues, including the early imperfs, appear to be nicely represented. ItŐs been built to the point that there are plenty of mint or used complete sets along with better values and cancel possibilities. The Portugal itself is in seven volumes, Angola in two, Azores in 1_, Macao in two, Mozambique in 2_, Portuguese India in 1_, St Thomas in 1_ and Timor in two. This is a turn key type lot.Cat. 1362*oPortugal and Colonies the consignment balance from the large consignment. Contains pages not yet inserted into the main body, individual items in need of insertion and a few duplicates. A few of the notables are Mozambique C7 with NY WorldŐs Fair overprint. Over fifteen of the better Portuguese souvenir sheets like 586a, 594a, 667a and 682a, lots of specialized Vasco De Gama material like composite Waterlow specimen sheets of eight (seven different) several complete sheets of twenty eight with the best being Mozambique 36-44 with extra sheets of the 40 r and 100 r plus more.
