We noticed many cards from the Midwest and numerous well known tourist destinations in foreign countries. Topics depicted include famous buildings and people, street scenes, rural landscapes, and tourist accommodations; there are also some humor and holiday cards. Offered reasonably.Cat. 614CVTreasure and Trash. Around 2,000 posted and unposted picture postcards from throughout the twentieth century, especially from the 1930s to the 1960s. Standard-sized and continental. About 90% of the cards are from the U.S.; the remaining 10% come from Europe and the Caribbean. We noticed RPPCs, chromes, and lithos, with individual cards depicting all sorts of topics and holidays. Loads of material devoted to commercial shipping and tourist travel as well as to street scenes, landscape views, and tourist accommodations. Approximately one hundred Santas of many different types add interest to the lot. Mixed condition, with some cards showing varying degrees of wear and tear or damage. Plenty of gems in this grouping to make the lot attractive to collectors and dealers alike.Cat. Value: S.B. 220.00
