40Iwo Jima Scott #929 mint block of four stamps autographed by John Henry ''Doc'' Bradley [1923-1994] who was a United States Navy corpsman during World War II. He partook twice in raising the Flag atop Mount Suribachi on the Island of Iwo Jima. It was during this second flag raising when photographer, Joe Rosenthal, captured with his camera one of the most iconic images in American military history.
