112CVGerman following the Japanese capture of Kiauchau in 1914, over 4,600 German POWs were transported to Japan for internment. Altogether, there were six camps: Aonogahara, Kurume, Nagoya, Narashino, Ninoshima and Band?. This small box lot includes 56 cards and covers from these camps. A variety of markings and their excellent condition, demands a serious look through. Includes two out of print tomes (in German from the 1960s) that help explain the markings.
