286CVGermany special delivery cover from Berlin to Warsaw, Poland. Features a margin copy block of four of #B55 of Wagner set paying the 80pf special delivery rate. Postmarked December 21, 1933 then traveled through Zbaszyn to Warsaw the next day. Rough handling caused by the search for the recipient is evident on the reverse of the cover. Impressive multiple backstamps. Huge Michel premium for multiples of this stamp on a legitimate usage. Wrinkled, torn backflap, overall soiling, bends and creases add to the story of this cover’s rough journey. Outstanding example of a rare used multiple.Cat. Value: S. B. 120.00

287CVGermany oversize (7” x 6.5”) philatelic cover. Seems to be some sort of special flight from Wittenberg to Berlin 10.11.1933 and returned 11.11.1933. Multi color cachet commemorates Martin Luther Day November 10, 1933. Registered and airmailed using #394, B57, and B55a to pay the rates. Transit mark on reverse Konigsberg 12.11.33. 290CVGermany commercial Zeppelin cover. Colorful using 12 stamps for the franking. Postmarked May 26, 1934 on a special connecting flight to Friedrichshafen where it left for Brazil aboard the Zeppelin. High Michel catalog with featuring #W48, W56, SK19, SK20 along with Scott #B49, and C43. The cover has faults, crude tape patch over the registration label, foxing of the high sulfur gum of the booklet combinations, and trimmed opening at the top of the cover.
