Starts with an album or two of German states (best Bavaria and Württemberg), then ten albums of Germany proper, followed by albums of colonies and offices, Danzig, General Government, French Zone etc. In places is parallel mint and used, but is missing most of the power. Interestingly does contain a falling apart mint ng Ostropa sheet plus mint and used #10NB11. | 1025 | | Germany collection in four like new expensive Lighthouse albums with slipcases. Goes from 1872 with a representative bunch of eagles and shields up through Bundespost 1995. Volume 1 is Empire to 1945 that is well filled throughout. Lacking in power but not in stamps. Does include an oxidized gum toned Ostropa sheet. Mixed condition especially in the earlies. Next is Germany 1949-1985 mint in the cheapies and used in the power areas. Again good coverage. Third is its complement French Zone, Russian Zone and Germany 1986-1995 mainly mint. And lastly a small album of occupations issues for both wars that do contain some dubious overprint issues. Solid advanced collection that could easily be continued and upgraded. | Cat. | 1026 | | Germany collection in a pair of old school KaBe albums 1850 through 1960. An advanced collection that has been dormant for quite a while. Begins with the states and occupations album with good runs of Bavaria, Danzig, Saar, and General Government. The second album is where the power is with representative eagles and shields, Empire, strong airs and semipostals, mint IPOSTA sheet used on piece OSTROPA sheet. Solid Third Reich, many mint postwar sets, mint posthorns, Heuss, semipostals and airs. And a host of power in the semipostals, black overprints, and bells issues of Berlin. Easily continued. First is a solid selection of French Zone while the other is a chunk of inflation issues where some of the used might just be. The rest has way too many duplicate sets and singles 1957-1980. The main collection in two Scott Specialty albums to around 1978 is mainly used and in general lacking power. Some surprise in the colonies album with a handful of large yachts present. Almost everything is slightly remaindered including at least three older albums. Also includes a few stockbooks with mixed mint and used along with extra pages for a Lindner album that are not complete. Seems to run out of gas around 1983.
