988oGermany mainly used stamp collection in six old type Lighthouse springback albums. Very clean with hundreds and hundreds of stamps hinged inside. The German states book is best with more stamps than usually seen strongest in Baden and Württemberg, the empire book is next with admirable eagles and shields, and Bundi is also valuable with quite a few early postwar sets. Also includes a sparse colonies book, a Reich album without the souvenir sheets, and an ugly mass of DDR. Perfect collection to add to or sell in pieces.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,300.00
Price Realized: $1,450.00
989*oGermany collection to 1998 in four clean Scott Specialty albums. Mostly mint especially after 1900 with lots of complete sets. Mostly mint OG with few of the ones checked NH. Highlights include mint #669, 670-685, 702-721, B316-B317, etc. Also includes a 90% complete DDR through 1990, a representative Zones collections and a nondescript Berlin section. Missing most of the power in the souvenir sheets across the board with many mint sets included to hold ones attention.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $1,800.00
990*oGermany collection 1872-1949 on Scott Specialty pages without binder. Begins with around half of the eagles and shields and is then well filled through 1945 with a focus on used stamps. Strong offices and enough in the Zones to make viewing a necessity.Cat. Value: S.B. 1,000.00
Price Realized: $700.00
991*oGermany mint collection in a customized Schaubek album 1872-1945. Very few if any NH, but lots of complete sets especially in the 1930-1945 era. Semipostals are especially strong with many stamps missing from most collections. An occasional used show off an interesting cancel but always in the presence of its mint counterpart. Clean and continuable and an expensive album makes this one a viable addition to any collection.Cat. Value: S.B. 800.00
Price Realized: $800.00
992*oGermany used collection 1872-1988 in a Scott Specialty album. A strong beginner assortment fills around 55% of the spaces with occasional value in the early postwar. Perfect to add to and bring up to speed as a representative collection as all the boring work of mounting common stamps has been done.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $500.00
993*oCVGermany from a small consignment almost filling a small pizza size box. Most of the value is on the dozen or so large double sided stock sheets where sets from all over the German area are cataloged together as sets. Huge catalog value balanced in all eras with lots of $5.00-$20.00 sets. Also includes a couple of notable covers and a few Third Reich postcards. Viewing recommended.Cat. Value: S.B. 750.00
Price Realized: $700.00
994*Germany (Bundespost) post WWII collection to 1993 in six homemade 3 ring albums on computer generated pages. Lots of power in the first book with better semipostal sets and posthorns all OG. The later issues tend to be NH with plenty of sets. Useful material.Cat. Value: S.B. 700.00
Price Realized: $375.00
995*oGermany three unrelated expensive albums that once were part of a substantial collection. First is a Lighthouse mixed mint and used Reich album about half full with decent General Government. Next are a pair of Lindner Germany albums 1949-1971 about half filled and 1972-1982 basically complete mint. Could fill holes in your album set or be cleaned up into three saleable units.Cat. Value: S.B. 600.00
Price Realized: $375.00
996*oGermany accumulation of mainly mint and used sets on stockpages, in “102” size cards and glassines. Better than usual with intermediate and higher catalog items, a couple listed as NH. Around 110 cards that include multiples of some sets with strength in the early post WWII era. Viewing should include checking the premium NH Third Reich for fingerprints etc.Cat. Value: Owner’s cat. 1,700.00
Price Realized: $950.00
997*oGermany in an Elephant stockbook crammed full with around 3,000 stamps. Around one third German states with strong Baden and Bavaria. The rest is Empire and Third Reich each offering value. Check it out to see if this would be a valuable addition to your German stock.Cat. Value: S.B. 550.00
Price Realized: $500.00
998*oGermany collection to 1979 in four beat down Schaubek hingeable albums. DDR goes to 1981 and is fairly well filled with used and CTO stamps (two volumes). The other two contain the rest of the German area with better used postwar sets, mint modern sets, and a few states, zones and colonies to round out the lot. Easily broken down for resale.Cat. Value: S.B. 500.00
Price Realized: $550.00
999*oGermany collection 1949-1992 in three Lighthouse albums. Stamps to around 1985. Redundant duplicate pages 1949-1979. Not much power with just intermediate issues filling the early pages. Some mint NH indicated by the owner to bolster the value. Great collection to add to as the albums are quality ones.Cat. Value: S.B. 400.00
Price Realized: $200.00
